St. Andrew's exists to witness the love of God to our community in the present and in subsequent generations. We will do this by presenting an alive, yet stable church in which the people of our parish can grow in love with one another and in the knowledge and love of God as revealed by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We desire to live as new creatures in Christ, to be a people of prayer, and to allow Jesus to be Lord of our lives.
As a faithful, Christ-centered people, we believe that the Church must be restored as the center of community life. At St. Andrew's, we believe that we are to instruct our children in the knowledge of God and in the way they are to go. There is no greater privilege brought by the Gospel than the promise of becoming children of God, brothers and sisters with Jesus Christ and with one another. We are the family of God! God instructs those He loves.
St. Andrew's desires to bring to our parish community the rich sacramental and liturgical heritage of the Church, the power of Pentecost, and the infallible truth of Holy Scripture. We believe that together, these three streams bring the full expression of loving Christian worship to the one God, in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe that the gifts of the Holy Spirit are for today. We pray for healing and wholeness. We offer compassionate aid to our community. St. Andrew's is committed to the three-fold order of Bishops, Priests, and Deacons in which our leaders oversee and encourage the people of God in ministry. At St. Andrew's we will never cease giving thanks and praise to an awesome God Who first loved us!
